Always been curious about Japanese tea ceremony? Wondering how to make matcha tea the traditional way? The Japanese Tea Ceremony in Asakusa will answer all of your burning questions. In a relaxed and casual environment, you’ll learn all about the wonders of Japanese tea ceremony, the tradition’s rich history, and of course, how to make matcha tea! You will learn proper Japanese tea ceremony etiquette from an expert, along with the dos and don’ts of making the matcha tea. And what goes better with tea than some delicious Japanese sweets? You’ll get a taste of cute Japanese confections during this Japanese tea ceremony experience. Tea culture was first introduced to Japan by the Chinese and was mainly enjoyed by the wealthier class who showed off their extravagant ceramics and knowledge during tea drinking gatherings. Simultaneously, a different type of tea gathering evolved, which focused on simplicity, with roots in Zen Buddhism.
