A modern style of French-Japanese fusion at a Nagoya restaurant where no two days are ever the same.
Restaurant Details
Tout la Joie has a special dish for all four seasons, which makes the dining experience a rare opportunity. This restaurant in Nagoya has a beautiful facade with red bricks which is covered with green, it almost looks like an art studio. Due to its invitation-only policy, Tout la Joie is considered one of the most difficult restaurants to reserve in the prefecture and possibly the whole country. Mr. Isshin Sumoto, the chief, makes a unique spread of dishes that can only be tasted on the specific day you go to the restaurant — no two days are the same, just as no two days can have the exact same fresh ingredients. The mix of Japanese and French techniques opens numerous doors and bursts of flavors to introduce the taste of the seasonal specials. The “M Salad” is the specialty of the restaurant — the only dish which remains constant on a menu in continuous flux . The once-in-a-lifetime experience that this style creates, in which every day is a unique experience, makes Tout La Joie one of the most exciting restaurants in Nagoya.
